Emergency First Aid with CPR-C/AED (OFA-1 equivalent) Course (Blended)

Starting May 1st, In light of the current pandemic situation, we have moved our first aid courses to a blended platform. This means you will complete the theory portion of the course online at home. Students will come and attend the in-person class for practical skills. this limits the exposure and amount of time spent in the class.

Description

Basic one-day course offering an overview of first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for the workplace or home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines. Meets OHS regulations for Basic First Aid. Exceeds competitors’ standards by including injury prevention content, CPR and AED

Course Content :

• Preparing to Respond

• The EMS system

• Check, Call, Care

• Airway Emergencies

• Breathing & Circulation Emergencies

• First Aid for Respiratory & Cardiac Arrest

• Wound Care

Prerequisites :

There is no previous training required for this program

Course Duration :

4 hour at home online module and 4 hours in class practicals
